A Relaxed Way to End the Convention Day
Felt Bar & Eatery works differently from a formal client dinner.
Meet colleagues at the bar or settle in at a table and continue the conversation over cocktails.
The restaurant was created around high-level food and drinks in a casual environment, making it particularly well suited to the transition from a structured convention day to an informal evening.
Walk-Ins Are Welcome
You don't necessarily need to know your post-conference plans days in advance.
Felt Bar & Eatery accepts a limited number of reservations until 10 PM and intentionally holds some tables and bar seats for walk-ins. After 10 PM, seating is first come, first served.
That flexibility can be particularly useful when conference schedules run late or dinner plans develop during the day.
For a party of two or a solo traveler, sitting at the bar can be an especially easy option.
Dinner, Raw Bar & The Lab
Felt Bar & Eatery's dedicated raw bar gives groups something easy to share, while the kitchen provides a broader menu for anyone ready for dinner.
The creative centerpiece of the cocktail program is The Lab, generally featuring six to nine original cocktails developed around a changing theme.
What to Eat at Felt
Felt is led by Chef Travis Herbert and restaurateur Richard Romney, bringing together a chef-driven approach to food with years of Salt Lake City hospitality experience. Herbert’s menu focuses on creative, seasonal dishes designed to work just as well for sharing over cocktails as they do for a full dinner.
Felt Bar & Eatery offers more than cocktails and bar snacks. Guests can stop in for oysters and share a few plates or settle in for a full dinner after a day at Salt Palace Convention Center.
The raw bar includes selections such as oysters with orange-bacon mignonette, tuna tataki and watermelon sashimi, while shareable dishes may include shrimp and grits and Korean-style BBQ ribs. Full dinner options are also available.
Both the food and bar menus change seasonally, so selections may vary throughout the year. Check our current menus to see what’s being served during your visit.
