Felt Bar & Eatery provides a versatile and sophisticated setting for a wide range of private events. From company dinners and corporate gatherings to wedding receptions and holiday parties, our space is designed to make your event truly special.

Whether you're planning a casual mixer with creative snacks and appetizers, a customized buffet, or an elegant multi-course dinner, we have you covered. We also offer support with entertainment, A/V equipment for presentations, and personalized decorations to ensure every detail aligns with your vision.

Our skilled culinary and bar teams specialize in crafting custom menus and delivering exceptional service, ensuring an unforgettable experience when you choose to host your event with us.

Specific Details

We offer two buyout options to suit your needs: Full Night Buyouts, providing exclusive access to our entire space for the entire evening, or Partial Night Buyouts, granting exclusive use of the venue until 8 PM.

We can accommodate up to 100 guests for a casual mixer or buffet-style event, or up to 60 guests for a more formal seated dinner.

All guests must be 21 or older and must provide a current, valid ID, no exceptions.

PRIVATE EVENTS FAQ

Are there any other options for larger parties other than a buyout?

Yes! We are happy to accommodate larger groups of 11-30 people based on your arrival time; however, the space will not be exclusively yours, we may require food to be preordered, and a preset minimum may be required. Please keep in mind that custom menus, toasts, presentations, ceremonies, or any activities that could disturb other guests are not permitted. For smaller groups of up to 10 people, we accept regular reservations until 8 pm each evening, with all seating after 8 pm available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How much does a private event cost?

For private events, we require a preset minimum charge that covers all food and drink up to that amount. Additionally, a 20% gratuity on the preset minimum amount, sales tax, and a small event fee are applied. Set minimums vary.

Is a deposit necessary to secure an event booking?

To book an event, we require a signed contract and a non-refundable deposit of 30% of the preset minimum. Additionally, a credit card must be kept on file to cover the final bill at the end of the event.

How many people does the space accommodate?

Our space accommodates up to 60 guests for a seated, coursed dinner and up to 100 guests for a mingling social event with snacks, apps, and drinks.

What happens if I don’t meet my minimum?

If your minimum isn’t met, you’ll be billed for the full preset minimum amount along with the event fee, gratuity (20% of the preset minimum amount), tax, and any additional services or rentals specified in your contract.

What does the minimum charge cover?

The preset minimum charge covers all food and drinks until the minimum is reached. Food menus are determined in advance, resulting in a fixed cost, with the remaining balance allotted for drinks. Additionally, please budget for the event fee, sales tax, and a 20% automatic gratuity.

 

What are the minimum charges based on?

Our minimum charges are based on average sales for a similar night when we are open to the public.

 

What if I exceed my minimum?

If you exceed the agreed-upon minimum, your total bill will include the minimum charge plus any additional costs incurred along with a 20% gratuity, sales tax, event fee, and any other services or rentals specified in your contract.

What additional services do you offer for private events?

We are happy to book a live band or a DJ, provide additional decorations, create custom food and drink menus, and/or provide audio/visual equipment for an additional cost.

What additional charges come with a buyout?

Additional charges always applied are the event fee, sales tax, and automatic gratuity. Other additional charges that may apply are any additional services, rentals, entertainment, additional hours, extensive planning and/or extensive menu customization.
